Welcome to the Training and Development page. Here you can find the annual training guide that offers courses for the following practitioners:
- Flying Start Childcare
- Youth
- Play
- Resilient Families Service
The guide will equip you with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) mandatory courses for Flying Start Childcare Settings, as well as good practice courses to help with personal development within your role.
To book onto the courses, click on the link and fill in the application form. A confirmation email will then be sent the email address you supplied within a few days of receipt of bookings. If the course is full, you will be added to a reserve list, should anyone cancel, or, an alternative date will be offered.

Please ensure you seek your Manager’s permission before booking onto the courses.
Once you have completed the course your data will be stored on the Training Manager as an electronic training record. Copies of the Training Record can be obtained via request. A copy of our Privacy Notice can be found here.
